TRAVEL READY™ PROGRAM — TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By purchasing, accessing, or participating in the Travel Ready™ certificate program ("the Program"), you ("Participant") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree to these terms, do not purchase or access the Program.

 

 

  1. NATURE OF THE PROGRAM — EDUCATIONAL USE ONLY

Travel Ready™ is an educational training program designed to improve the general knowledge and professional practices of travel advisors and hospitality professionals. The content, materials, frameworks, and information provided in this Program are intended for educational and informational purposes only.

This Program:

  • Is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, therapeutic, or clinical advice
  • Does not constitute occupational therapy services, medical consultation, or clinical assessment of any individual traveler or client
  • Does not guarantee the accessibility, safety, or usability of any specific property, destination, transportation provider, cruise line, hotel, or travel experience
  • Does not create a professional clinical relationship between Be Brave Travel Academy, its instructors, or its founders and any Participant or their clients

The instructors of this Program are certified occupational therapy assistants (COTA/L) sharing general professional knowledge in an educational capacity. Their credentials inform the curriculum but do not constitute a clinical or therapeutic engagement with Participants or their clients.

   

3. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY & INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION

Participants acknowledge and agree that:

3.1 All accessibility information, frameworks, checklists, and guidance provided in this Program are general in nature. Every traveler's needs are unique, and no training program can account for every individual situation.

3.2 It is the sole responsibility of the Participant to independently verify all accessibility details directly with hotels, cruise lines, airlines, ground transportation providers, tour operators, and any other travel suppliers before confirming any booking on behalf of a client.

3.3 Participants are strongly encouraged to recommend that their clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for medical emergencies, trip interruption, and accessibility-related cancellations. Be Brave Travel Academy makes no representation that any specific insurance policy will cover any specific situation.

3.4 Participants are responsible for staying current with applicable regulations, supplier policies, and industry standards. The Program reflects information available at the time of its creation and may not reflect subsequent changes in law, policy, or best practice.

3.5 Completion of this Program does not certify, license, or qualify any Participant to provide medical, clinical, therapeutic, or legal advice to travelers or any other party.

 

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 

4.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Be Brave Travel Academy, Be Brave Designs, Inc., its founders, instructors, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:

  • A Participant's use of or reliance on Program content
  • Any booking decision made by a Participant or their clients
  • Any injury, loss, damage, or disappointment experienced by a traveler or client in connection with a trip planned using knowledge from this Program
  • The accuracy, completeness, or currency of any information provided in the Program
  • Any failure of a travel supplier to deliver accessible accommodations or services

4.2 Be Brave Travel Academy does not guarantee any specific outcome, professional result, or client satisfaction as a result of completing this Program.

4.3 In no event shall Be Brave Travel Academy's total liability to any Participant exceed the amount paid by that Participant for the Program.

 

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CONFIDENTIALITY

5.1 Ownership. All content within the Travel Ready™ Program — including but not limited to video lessons, written materials, frameworks, checklists, worksheets, templates, slide decks, audio recordings, module content, and the Travel Ready™ name and trademark — is the exclusive intellectual property of Be Brave Travel Academy and Be Brave Designs, Inc. All rights reserved.

5.2 Personal Use Only. Your purchase grants you a single-user, non-transferable license to access and use Program materials for your own personal professional development only.

5.3 Prohibited Uses. Participants expressly agree that they will NOT:

  • Share, distribute, reproduce, copy, screenshot, record, or transmit any Program content to any third party
  • Share login credentials or provide access to the Program to any other person
  • Use Program content to create competing courses, trainings, frameworks, certifications, or educational materials
  • Present, teach, or facilitate any Program content as their own in any public or private setting
  • Upload any portion of the Program to any platform, website, social media account, file-sharing service, or group
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer access to the Program

5.4 Enforcement. Violation of these intellectual property terms may result in immediate termination of access without refund and may subject the Participant to legal action for copyright infringement, breach of contract, and related claims.

 

  1. PROGRAM ACCESS 

6.1 Founding Member Access. Founding members who purchase Travel Ready™ during the presale period receive access to the Program for as long as Travel Ready™ exists in its current form on the Be Brave Travel Academy platform.

6.2 Updates. Founding members will receive access to future content updates, additional modules, and curriculum improvements added to Travel Ready™ at no additional charge, provided those updates are made within the existing Travel Ready™ program framework.

6.3 Program Changes. Be Brave Travel Academy reserves the right to update, revise, or modify Program content at any time. If the Program is substantially restructured, rebranded, or relaunched as a materially different product, Founding Members will be notified and provided reasonable options for continued access.

6.4 Platform Changes. Access to the Program is delivered through the Be Brave Travel Academy platform (currently hosted on Kajabi). Be Brave Travel Academy is not liable for platform outages, technical issues, or changes in hosting services outside of our control. In the event of a platform migration, reasonable effort will be made to maintain Participant access.

6.5 Termination for Cause. Be Brave Travel Academy reserves the right to terminate a Participant's access without refund if the Participant violates these Terms and Conditions, engages in chargebacks without first contacting us, or engages in any conduct deemed harmful to Be Brave Travel Academy or its community.

 

  1. PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY 

7.1 All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of this Program and immediate access upon purchase, Be Brave Travel Academy does not offer refunds.

7.2 If you experience a technical issue preventing access, please contact us at april@bebravetravelacademy.com within 7 days of purchase and we will work to resolve it.

7.3 Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting Be Brave Travel Academy constitutes a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of access and referral to collections.

 

  1. NO GUARANTEES

Be Brave Travel Academy makes no guarantee that completion of this Program will result in any specific professional outcome, revenue increase, client acquisition, or business result. Results vary based on individual effort, market conditions, and factors outside our control.

 

  1. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes arising from or related to this Program shall be resolved in the courts of Suffolk County, New York, or through binding arbitration at Be Brave Travel Academy's election.
